WELCOME TO THE WATERFRONT FIELD OF DREAMS!

We are a community organization dedicated to rebuilding and maintaining our youth Baseball / Softball field on the shore of Lake Charlevoix for all current and future generations.

Many of us remember playing ball on the field down by the waterfront in the beautiful town of Boyne City. Most of us have watched our children and or grandchildren play ball while watching the sunset and enjoying a bag of popcorn and a hot dog.

This field is iconic and a symbol of pride in our small town. It’s one of the historical gems of Boyne City. Not only is this field a historical landmark, but it’s also a childhood memory for all families who grew up playing ball here.

Our Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers built this field for our children with their bare hands. After many years of ball games on this beautiful field, we need to make some major upgrades to preserve this landmark everyone loves and remembers for future generations.

The support our group has received from all across the Boyne City community has been amazing. Stay tuned for this years opening ceremony where the Boyne City Little League will be hosting it "Season Opening" game.

This amazing field will also be avaible to host youth baseball / softball tournamants once the 2025 Boyne City Little League regular season has ended.

If you would like information on using this field please email waterfrontfieldofdreams@gmail.com for more information.
